Strainers

Basket strainers are used to remove non deformable particles from a liquid stream, often protecting equipment such as flow meters, pumps, and spray nozzles. The particulate is captured inside the strainer basket. Both single and duplex strainers are available. For single strainers, the line is temporarily shut down whilst the basket is removed for cleaning or replacement. Where pipelines cannot be shut down, a duplex strainer can operate continuously as flow can be switched between baskets by use of a valve.
